HaemoCer™ Absorbable Polysaccharide Haemostat (APH) is a plant based medical device, and is available in 2, 3, and 5 gram variants.
A 44 cm long Universal Applicator is available separately to use with any of the size variants.
HaemoCer™ is derived from purified plant starch for the use as an absorbable haemostatic agent to control bleedings during surgical procedures or as a prophylactic adhesion barrier after surgical procedures in cavities covered by mesothelium.
HaemoCer™ contains no animal or human components. It is a biocompatible, sterile, white powder that is nonpyrogenic. HaemoCerTM is typically absorbed within few days completely.
